The Estuary & Ocean Science (EOS) Center invites you to explore near real-time and long-term water and weather conditions in SF Bay. We take the environmental pulse of the Bay and studying changing conditions thorough our network of sensors deployed on piers, pilings, moorings and buoys. These data support adaptive planning for the region. We are enabled to provide these data to the community because of public funding for scientific research. Our major funding partner for water and weather data is the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration through the Central and Northern California Ocean Observing System (CeNCOOS) and the SF Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) programs.
